UGREEN, a renowned electronics manufacturer, has introduced a new charger in its Nexode series – the Nexode Pro 65W GaN Ultra-Slim model. This charger uses GaN (Gallium Nitride) technology, making the device more compact while delivering higher power. GaN is a semiconductor with better properties than traditionally used silicon, allowing chargers to be smaller and more efficient. The Ultra-Slim model is ideal for travel – its compact size, included fabric storage pouch, and network plug adapters make it convenient to use while on the go.

The charger comes in aesthetically pleasing packaging. Inside, besides standard documentation, you’ll find: the charger itself, plug adapters for European and UK outlets, and a fabric storage pouch.
Specifications
The UGREEN Nexode Pro 65W charger offers a total power output of 65 W and features three output ports: 1 x USB-A and 2 x USB-C.
Thanks to its American network plug and adapters for European and UK outlets, it’s compatible with a variety of network standards. The charger’s input voltage range of 100-240V means there’s no need to worry about local power grid voltage.
Supported Charging Protocols
As the name suggests, the UGREEN Nexode Pro 65W is a high-powered fast charger. In addition to the currently most popular Power Delivery, the charger supports various fast charging protocols. Tester FNIRSI FNB58 reports that the charger supports the following technologies:

Output Power
The manufacturer declares a total output power of 65W. As is often the case with such devices, the power we can draw depends on the number of connected devices and the ports used. UGREEN specifies the following output parameters for the configurations below:
Load Test
To verify the claimed 65 W power, a load test was conducted using a battery capable of drawing this power. During approximately 20 minutes of operation at full load, the charger consistently delivered even slightly more than 65 W, confirming its efficiency.
During full power operation, the maximum recorded temperature of the charger reached 62.5°C (144.5°F). This is quite high, making it somewhat uncomfortable to touch (though still manageable). However, considering the compact size of the device, this result can be deemed acceptable.
Unfortunately, the maximum current draw time with available Power Delivery testing devices was under 20 minutes. Therefore, the test will be repeated shortly after receiving the ordered artificial load with a minimum duration of 1 hour. An update will be posted here.
Summary
The UGREEN Nexode Pro 65W GaN Ultra-Slim is a well-built device that meets the specifications claimed by the manufacturer. With the included plug adapters and compact dimensions, it’s an ideal solution for world travelers. The device is also visually pleasing, blending well with its surroundings. Personally, I find it has a decorative quality, though I simply enjoy well-designed devices :) The only downside is the relatively high temperature at full load. Nonetheless, I am very satisfied with this charger and can genuinely recommend it.
